Welcome to the Ritch Equation podcast. My name is Ashish Nathu. Let’s get right to it. What does it mean to be rich? Such an amazing provocative, colorful word.
I’ll tell you, we’ve been programmed for generations about this word, what it means to be rich. The American dream defined being rich as earning income, working for a company for 30 years of our life, saving enough money to buy a house, putting it into our 401k, just so that by the time we’re 65, we have enough money to retire and then hopefully invest in traveling and living a fulfilled life in the back part of our life. Is that really what Rich’s all about? I hope not.
Today, It’s completely different. That game, that system doesn’t work anymore. Being rich today is a mindset and that’s what the rich equation is all about. The Rich equation, we’re going to talk about new ways of experiencing the rich life. My friend, the old way isn’t going to work, saving our way to being rich is not going to work. In this new game, There’s going to be winners and losers. If we think about the world the same way we have in the last few generations, it’s just not going to work.
This is a new world. I think about how different the world is and what we have today than we didn’t have. We have access to information and technology that gives us the ability to make decisions faster than ever before. It has leveled the playing field of access and decision-making capacity. The current economics of the business
environment. There’s more liquidity and capital and access to capital than there’s ever been before. Interest rates are lower than they’ve ever been before. The governments are giving away cash like it’s monopoly money and it’s creating a larger burden for us in the future in a way that we don’t even quite understand yet.
So really understanding how we make money and what that money means to us now and in the future is something we really need to be aware about. And if you’re like me, you want to live a 10 out of 10 life. We want to put everything on the table before we leave. And I want to do that now, not later, I don’t want to wait for 30 years to do that. That’s what the Rich equation is all about. Living rich now.
I’m not interested in chasing some long distant destination for fulfillment, but I’m really focused on living an expansive journey of experiences today. That’s what the Ritch equation is all about. And here at the Rich equation, we’re going to deconstruct all aspects of living a rich life. And we’ll talk about how to maximize your income, your profits, and spending time with those who you love and really finding the energy and vitality to go after the things that you want and own your future.
To me, I believe in daily routines and habits that help us achieve results. Are you going to take action? Are you going to take action to live your rich life?
